The Clay Club promotes fun, interest, and learning in all aspects of working with clay—from
hand building and throwing on the wheel to glazing and surface decoration.
We strive to be a welcoming, supportive community where members share their love of clay,
grow their skills, learn from one another, build friendships, and simply enjoy the creative process
together.

Artistic freedom is encouraged, along with participation in the shared work that keeps our studio
lively and functioning smoothly. Clay is an incredibly flexible medium, offering countless ways
to express individuality—and it’s a wonderful throwback to the joy of mud pies and free, handson play.
Members are invited to try their hand at creating that special bowl or plate. There is nothing quite
like the feel of squishy clay and the excitement of seeing beautiful creations emerge from the
kiln.

More experienced potters generously share their knowledge, teaching techniques and
encouraging new members as they discover how to bring their ideas to life.

The Clay Club is an approved club of Sun City Oro Valley, Arizona.
