We are all artists, and potters. We see beauty in working with our hands. We have a club that is wonderful, in large part due to the generosity and sharing of techniques and knowledge. We take newbies under our wings and help them when needed. We appreciate each other’s work. We continue to flourish and grow because of that. We don’t want to lose that. Using our talents and creativity, we are astounded by some of the work going in and out of our kilns. We share molds, textures and patterns to decorate our pieces.
Everything we do on our studio can be observed and admired. We take inspiration from, incorporating techniques, glazes, and shapes and adding our
own spin to make each piece unique. In the spirit of appreciating the generosity of our members, use the styles and techniques – but don’t copy! It can be a fine line. The link to an article from an artist group may help distinguish that line.
