The SCOV Clay Club welcomes beginners and experienced potters alike.

Requirements

All new members must complete two half-day orientation classes to ensure safe and consistent
use of our shared studios:

  1. Clay Club Orientation – studio rules, tools, acceptable clay, basic hand-building and
    safety monitor training.
  2. Orientation to Glaze – glaze studio rules, glaze techniques, approved glazes, and kiln use.

Orientation to Glaze is typically held 2–3 weeks after Clay Club Orientation and is required
before using the glaze studio. New students will be contacted upon completion of Clay
orientation

Dues

Annual membership is $15.

How to Sign Up

Sign up for Clay Club Orientation at the clay studio. Classes fill quickly, so early sign-up is
recommended.

Note: Seasonal residents may find it challenging to complete projects within a short stay due to
scheduling and project timelines.

We look forward to welcoming you!
